Thank You
Thank you for a successful testing week! Again, we appreciate all of you for making the week a success. The test is a team effort, and we could not do it without the help of all of you!
If you see Mrs. Fox, please let her know how much we appreciate her stepping in for Mrs. Spradlin. She has been a constant for those kiddos the last few weeks. She will be with us one more week before Mrs. Hayes will take over the class until the end of May. Thank you in advance for welcoming these ladies onto our team.
Our jeans passes go to Debby Richey and Linda Thorson for their Hearts at Work! Thank you, ladies. Your jeans passes will be in your boxes.

At this time, we have been chosen to use Letterland in grades Kinder and 1st next year as a supplemental program to our balanced literacy. Schools were chosen based on their 3rd grade BOY and MOY AIMSWeb averages. When listed from lowest to highest, we ranked 8th between Caprock and Basswood. Kinder and 1st grade teachers will be trained in May during the school day. More information will be coming.
As you are planning your summer, thinking about next year, and reflecting on your own learning needs, consider attending some of the Keller University trainings or Abydos. The district expectation for next year is balanced literacy which includes readers' and writers' workshop.
