ACHIEVING SUCCESS TOGETHER - RÉUSSIR ENSEMBLE
December 18, 2020
Dear École Charlie Killam School Community,
It's great to connect with you again.
While 2020 has been a unique year, it's hard to believe that we are nearing the end of it. Today marks the start of our Holiday Season. Whatever that looks like for your family, we wish you a safe and healthy time!
As a reminder, all students in the Battle River School Division will be working at home for the week of January 4 - January 8. As this is a continuation for most of our Grade 7 and Grade 8 students, there will be minimal changes to what has been happening already. We would like to thank the students, their parents, and our staff for all the work in transitioning to virtual learning.
Gr. 6 teachers have sent home learning packages. The week of January 4th-8th, teachers will be working and available to touch base with and support students/families (through email. Google Meets, phone calls, etc).
If you need, you can always reach out to your child's teacher. Please see the staff directory here.
We look forward to seeing everyone back in the school on January 11th.

Help in Tough Times
At some point in our lives we all have stressful times. We can be impacted by such things as financial pressures, unexpected difficulties, unemployment, or stressful situations such as the current outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Support is available from Alberta Health Service Addiction and Mental Health, although how the services are provided may have changed.
Alberta Health Services has resources and services, such as Text4Hope and Togetherall, available to help you or someone you know. Remember, if you are struggling you are not alone. There are supports in place to help you.
