Last day of school and High School Finals

The district has determined the last day of school for the 2020-21 school year for students in grades K-11 will be a half-day on Friday, May 28, assuming there are no unforeseen circumstances causing us to cancel school.

High school finals will be full-days on Wednesday, May 26; Thursday, May 27; and a half-day on Friday, May 28. For more information, or to subscribe to the district calendar, visit

KS ACT Score Reporting Vouchers

ACT’s MyACT platform represents a new online process established by ACT for students to provide the information needed for their scores to be sent to up to four colleges, free of charge. MyACT did not function as it should for Blue Valley West Juniors during the window surrounding our February 23 ACT administration. As a result, ACT is providing an additional opportunity for students to do so in the form of a voucher code that can be used in MyACT.

A voucher code is being provided to students participating in State-sponsored testing who have not selected at least one college for automated score reporting. Students who entered at least one college for score reporting are not eligible for a voucher. The code will be printed on page 1 of the student’s paper score report and is redeemable for the one-time purchase of up to four additional score reports at no cost. Additional college choices may be included for a fee. All voucher codes will expire, so students should be encouraged to use the code within two weeks of receiving their paper score report.

Food and Nutrition update

In preparation for Spring Break, meal kits for all those interested will be available for pick-up on Friday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to noon at the four pick-up locations (Blue Valley High, Blue Valley West, Blue Valley North, and Blue Valley Northwest). Meal kits will include both breakfast and lunch meals for five days. There will be no meal pick-up on March 15 or 17. There is no cost for these meals and welcome all Blue Valley families with students.
