Anzac Day Commemorations
Come down to Torquay Beach to remember our fallen heroes.
What? When? Where? Why? How?
WHAT? - A day of fun activities in the name of remembering our fallen ANZACS.
WHEN? - ANZAC Day (25th of April)
WHERE? - Torquay Beach.
WHY? - To learn a little about our history and to partake in some traditional Turkish and Australian past-times. Also to have a barbie and kebab.
HOW? - We recommend taking a tram to the location otherwise driving would be the second best option.
Oil Wrestling and Two-Up
Come down to St.Kilda beach to partake in the ancient Turkish past-time of Oil Wrestling.
Known to be around since 1362 this was and still is a favored sport in Turkey. Be a part of this massive tournament (weather permitting) and win some awesome themed prizes
Also on show will be games of traditional two-up that were played by Australian and New Zealand soldiers during the war all in the memory of of the soldiers who died fighting for the interests of our country.

What to Bring!
Bring a blanket and some sun screen if you are buying food make sure to bring some money, apart from that bring a smile on your dial and be open to enjoy the day.
