Room 110 News
April 10th, 2016
Dear Families:
We have started a fiction writing unit. We are creating characters and imagining some really interesting adventures for them. Students are working on integrating their writing content with their mechanics (punctuation, capitalization, and spelling), and having a lot fun doing it.
This Friday is Art and Music Night, sponsored by The Village! There will be a student created art raffle, dinner, and music! The cost is $10 per family, and includes a spaghetti dinner! Hope to see you there! 6:30-8:30 pm.
Our next field trip will be on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016. We are heading to the Berkeley Marina to learn about the marine life at the rocky seashore. Please make sure students wear clothing/shoes they can get muddy that day, and remember to bring a lunch from home.
Special thanks to our "Math Game Day Friday" volunteers. This first month of game days has been engaging, and it could not happen with out your help! If you would like to volunteer click the link below!
