What is CVD and how does it affect us as college students?
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a group of diseases that affect the heart and blood vessels in your body. Types of diseases can include coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis, and numerous other kinds that can make you prone to heart attacks and strokes. CVD is one of the number one causes of death in America and as students, we need to become more cautious of our eating habits to avoid this now and in our futures.
