Note From Tricia Campbell, Interim Principal
Hello! While Mrs. Louie is on leave, my goal is to make sure that Spokane Valley Tech continues to run smoothly and continues to be the amazing place that it is for SVT students and families. SVT has an awesome staff and we are working together to continue to provide an outstanding educational experience to all SVT students.

Here's a highlight of some of the things happening this month at SVT:
- Game Night, March 3rd, 6-8 PM
- Study Hall, March 7th & 8th, 2-3 PM
- SVT Blood Drive, March 9th 8:30-10 AM (hosted by EMT program)
- STEM Camp for 1st-8th graders, March 18th
- Pi Day Assembly, March 14th
- SVT PTO Meeting, March 14th 6-7 PM at SVT
- Study Hall, March 14th & 15th, 2-3 PM
- Registration for 2023-24 - March 20-24 in ELA classes with Mrs. Dresback
- Study Hall, March 21st & 22nd, 2-3 PM
- Study Hall, March 28th & 29th, 2-3 PM
- Deadline for CVVL Registration for 2023-24 - March 30th
- Last day before Spring Break - March 31st
Remember - If a student wants to bring a non-STEM Academy student guest to Game Night, they need to complete a guest form prior to the event, available in the office.
Help Give The Gift of Life
Our EMT Program is sponsoring the SVT Blood Drive Thursday, March 9th, 8:00 am - 10:30 am. Students who would like to participate must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 lbs, and also bring a signed parent permission form (available in the office or from Mrs. Morrison).

SVT STEM CAMP -- Saturday, March 18, 2023 -- Come Explore!
Spokane Valley Tech camps will engage students (1st – 8th grade) in a variety of activities that relate to the courses taught at Spokane Valley Tech including Biomed, Fire Science/EMT, Computer Science and Engineering/Manufacturing. The cost of the camp is $35.00 per student. All funds raised will support the Spokane Valley Tech clubs & activities. Enrollment forms may be mailed or dropped of (7:30 am – 3:00 pm) at SVT. Please plan to pay with cash or a check by Thursday, March 16th. Please make checks payable to SVT ASB.

Registration Process
1. First, meet with Mrs. Dresback ASAP
2. Then complete the CVVL online registration form on our website
3. Last, attend orientation (dates TBD)
Each quarter we recognize students who have gone above and beyond in the area of character! We highlight one student for each of our GOPRO traits, as well as the relevant PACE traits for the quarter. This Fall the decisions were difficult, as we have so many students who make us proud every day at SVT! Congratulations to all of our nominees and the students that were selected to be recognized!
