Welcome to Term 2
Kia ora e te whānau,
Welcome back to school for term 2. We hope everyone had a happy Easter!
This term we are looking forward to our new science based inquiry learning about what makes things hot and what makes things cold. We will be doing lots of experiments and having lots of wonderings about what we notice.
We are now able to have whole team hui in the morning and children will be asked to meet in Room 3 at 8.55
As the weather will be changing hats are no longer required to be worn at break times. Please though check that children have a warm top and jacket as they are expected to outside even on cold days. If it is raining the classrooms are open.
For fitness we will be doing cross-country training. Children will need to wear shoes suitable for running in.
We look forward to seeing everyone again!
Covid - Orange level expectations
We are able to have syndicate assemblies inside.
Parents are allowed onto the grounds but are asked to wear masks if they are coming into a classroom.
School pick up
Parents are now able to come onto the school grounds for pick up and drop off. We ask that you do not come into the classrooms or cloak bays without checking with a teacher first.
It has been lovely to see you all back! It has been a bit strange not getting a chance to meet people after school but we are looking forward to having some Meet the Teacher opportunities next term and will give you more information later.
Library times
This week is week 1 so Rooms 3 & 5 will be going.
