This is just a reminder that on the day of testing students should bring the following to school:

  • A refillable water bottle

  • Headphones for iPad

  • Your own writing utensils and school supplies

  • A fully charged iPad

  • Face masks

The State of Illinois requires that the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) be taken in-person by all students in grades 3 through 8 and the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) be taken in-person by all students in grades 5 and 8.

Please use the following information and links to access daily assessment schedules for each grade level and learner type (in-person and remote).

  • All students in grades 6-8, both remote and in-person, will be tested at Daniel Wright Junior High School each day from Monday, May 24, 2021 through Friday, May 28, 2021.

  • Please note daily schedules for in-person AND remote learners will include BOTH in-person and remote instruction as well as in-person test administration.

    • In-person students will test and have in-person instruction in the morning and then travel home for remote instruction in the afternoon.

    • Remote students will have remote instruction in the morning, then travel to school mid-day for test administration and in-person instruction. This requires in-person students who are driven to school to be picked up each day at 11:30 a.m. Arrival and dismissal times for all students are on the schedule linked below.

  • 6th Grade IAR Daily Testing Schedule

  • 7th Grade IAR Daily Testing Schedule

  • 8th Grade IAR Daily Testing Schedule

If you have any questions about these schedules or any of the other information surrounding the IAR, please reach out to your child’s school. Questions about transportation can be directed to the transportation office (847) 295-8258.
