Principal's Update 2/3/2022
When dropping off or picking up your student by car, enter the parking lot and drive down the far-right lane; this is the lane that will take you in front of the school. Please pull as far forward towards our mailbox as you can, or to the next car in front of you. Once you have stopped at the curb, your student can get out and walk themselves into the building. Please remain in your car so we can keep the flow of cars moving.
During dismissal, we ask that you also remain in your car and wait for your student. They will be dismissed by a staff member when you have pulled up to the front of the building and will walk to your car.
Please remember to always exit out of the parking lot using only the middle lane. The far-right lane is reserved for our busses. We ask that you follow the directions of school staff to assure everyones safety.
This week I met with our district safety officer to review our parking lot safety am looking for ways to improve our traffic flow and safety in our parking lot.
Thank you for helping us to keep all of our students and staff safe.

A digital transfer request form will be available on the Transfers section of the district website, http://gresham.k12.or.us/Page/2249. The link to this form can also be emailed to you directly if you request it from any GBSD school or district office. Forms must be submitted by March 31, 2022.
You will be notified in writing after review of all requests. Please note: kindergarten and first grade requests may not be decided upon until late summer after elementary registration. For further information, contact the Gresham-Barlow School District Office at 503-261-4575.

Share your ideas about the future of the West Gresham Building!
The Gresham-Barlow School District needs your input on the future uses of the vacant West Gresham Elementary School Building. The District is considering re-purposing the building to house multiple District and community services. To gather feedback, the school district is using a tool called ThoughtExchange so as many people as possible can participate by sharing their thoughts online. We want to know: What are your thoughts about how we could best use this building and what services might best go in this structure?
Participating takes only a couple of minutes! Share your Feedback
