The $ 500 one-time lump sum payment approved as part of the 2016-17 Compensation Package will be included in paychecks for all eligible staff on Friday, December 16th.
The eligibility requirements are the same as previous year.
A summary of the eligibility criteria is listed below for your convenience:
1. Employed by Plano ISD as of the last contract/work day of 2015-16 as a regular employee
(not a substitute or temporary)
2. Earned a TRS creditable year of service for 2015-16 (worked a minimum of 90 days)
3. Is assigned to a budgeted, allocated position as of the first contract/work day for 2016-17
4. Is still employed in a budgeted allocated position as of November 30, 2016
The payment will be prorated based upon the full-time equivalent (FTE) percentage of employment status with the district as of November 30, 2016.
Taxes
The 1095-C form was issued for the first time last year as part of the Affordable Care Act. The forms for the 2016 tax year will be issued by January 31, 2017, and will be needed when you prepare your next income tax return.
Through the Employee Service Center (ESC) in TEAMS, your 1095-C form will be available electronically.
· If you would like to receive your 1095-C form electronically instead of on paper, please follow the steps listed below no later than January 17, 2017. Your selection will remain in place until you take action to change the delivery method.
· If you want to receive a paper copy of your 1095-C form, no action is necessary.
To select Electronic delivery of your 1095-C form:
1. Login to TEAMS Employee Service Center – http://esc.pisd.edu
2. Select My Payroll Information
3. Select My 1095
4. Click Edit
5. Click Electronic copy

Incompletes
Only students with medical or psychological documentation may be given an "incomplete." Any recorded "incomplete" grade on a student report card must be cleared by Dana. If a student has an issue you believe justifies the incomplete, you must communicate the concern to an administrator before you record the grade. If approved, All “I's” posted on a report card (without medical and/or psychological documentation) must be cleared up by the next progress report.

Second Semester Schedules
Students will report to their first semester, first period class on January 3rd. Each student will receive a second semester student schedule. After each student receives a schedule, we will dismiss students to their "new" first period class.
Come comfortable on Friday, December 16th with appropriate pajamas. Don't be upset with me if your team decides to go out for lunch and you are wearing a onesie.
