Help for Houston
Gregory Middle School, led by our Student Council, is taking the opportunity to “Get in the Game” by partnering with other 204 Middle Schools, the City of Aurora, the City of Houston, and supplybucket.com to collect school supplies to assist the children of Houston. Many people forget that school is starting for all students in the City of Houston on September 11th. One of the biggest struggles from Hurricane Harvey is that students will not have the necessary school supplies. To help the students with their return to school we are collecting various school supplies (SUPPLY LIST) to assist students and teachers as they bring some normalcy to their lives. This is a great opportunity to show some PIONEER PRIDE and help others.
Please do your part to “Get in the Game” by dropping off items during school hours inside the main entrance (Door 1) near the Greeter Desk. The collection runs from September 11th through the 22nd. For more information or for other ways to assist, please see the Houston Independent School District website: http://www.houstonisd.org/harvey
A special thank you goes out to www.supplybucket.com for their facilitation with the City of Aurora and Indian Prairie School District. We are proud to say that www.supplybucket.com was started by four Indian Prairie students to facilitate the collection of school supplies at the end of the school year in order to repurpose the supplies.
Thank You for Your Support in this endeavor of giving…And as Always, GO PIONEERS!

Naperville Kids Marathon and Team IPEF
More than 400 students ages 5 to 12 are now registered to represent their schools and Team IPEF in the Naperville Kids Marathon. Students commit to running 25 miles (one mile at a time) before October 20 and track their miles. They run their final 1.2 miles of their marathon on Saturday, October 21 at Naperville North High School and receive a shirt and finisher medal.
