From the Principal
We've have had a busy week at Monroe Elementary. On Monday evening, the Jonathan Alder School Board Meeting took place at Monroe. Some of our students demonstrated our Classroom Cruisers. These self- regulation bikes make almost no noise and are being used in classrooms to provide movement for our students during their learning. There are pictures below of our students using the bikes as well as getting to share information about the bikes with our board members.
On Tuesday, our second grade students had their music performance. They did a great job sharing music about "Where The Wild Things Are." A special thank you to Mr. Tarbet for all of his hard work for this performance.
The fourth grade students completed part 2 of their ELA state test this week. Next week both the third and fourth grade students will be taking their Math state test. Please assist your child get plenty of rest the night before their tests.
Please remember there is no school tomorrow. Have a Happy Easter and a great long weekend!
