5 important accomplishments


The Aztecs built Tenochtitlan as their capital when their main god told them that when they saw a eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in its mouth. They saw that sight after quiet some time. After awhile when they got settled they built Tenochtitlan. To build it they used a powerful military tradition.

War against Tepanec

After they built Tenochtitlan the Aztec formed an alliance with the Texicocans and Tacubans to conquer Tepeneacs' capital, Azcapotzalica. They defeated the Tepanec.


They also built aqueducts for a way of irrigation, bathing, and used to water the garden.

The Aztecs learned how to farm so they didn't have to specialize their time trying to get hunt for food. They had a surplus of food. Some of their founder crops are chickpeas, einkorn wheat, and barley.

The Aztecs traded jewellery with Egypt and flint and obsidian with the Stone Age.

Was the Aztecs' civilization complex?

Yes. It was a complex civilization because they did their own stuff in their own kind of way, and they didn't have all the technology we do today. It was probably a lot harder to do stuff with out the helpful stuff we have today.
