New Staff

Welcome again Amanda Weinstein who has now started her student teaching experience with Mrs. Godbout's class. She is an incredibly enthusiastic person who loves learning and creating ways to help all students. She has great ideas and already shows that she is a part of every child every day!

Welcome also to Megan White who will be student teaching with Mrs. Booker's class. Megan joins us from Appalachian State where she is working towards her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She used to live in Statesville, but then moved to Hawaii when her father joined the Army. She has a dog named Caly and lives here in Mooresville while completing her student teaching. She is also an avid couponer, so hopefully she'll let me know of the good deals on diapers!

ATTITUDE is the secret Element...

School Success during this time in our state can be depressing but IF YOU WERE IN the 3rd grade 1:1 meeting, the K, 1st, or 2nd data wall meetings you would not know it! This element of South Staff to maintain Positive Can Do Attitudes is the secret to School Success but often hard to maintain! South Staff just keep on LIFTING each Other UP!!! #WeCanMaintain #Proudprincipal #ourstudentsmatter #BestStaff
