Why is child abuse important?
Child abuse can lead to many issues. Issues such as abusing their own children, usage of drugs and alcohol, and more likely to become a criminal when they grow up.
Recent Data
1. In Virginia, a child is abused or neglected every 75 minutes.
2. Every 14 days a child dies from child abuse.
3. Virginia's abuse rate is third lowest in the United States.
4. 52,675 Virginia children were abused.
5. Most of the victims are white (67%), rest of them were black (33%), and Asian (1%).

How do we end this?
Step 1: Talk to your friends and parents about the importance of child abuse.
