PVE News Update
PVE-Where A Great Beginning Lasts A Lifetime!
Monday, May 11th, 2015
Today we are under a watch for possible severe weather. This includes the possibility of anything popping up between noon and 8 pm. As I catch the morning weather, they are predicting possible squall lines, winds and even a slight risk of tornado watch. Please keep this on your radar for the day ahead.
Last week we shared a huge celebration in a fantastic STEM/Family Game night. Our campus was abuzz with an event that had one of the largest turn outs for participation. Thank you to Stephanie and our teacher/staff volunteers. Also, special thank you to our PTO for their partnership on this event! Pictured above in Kahoot in the Adventure Center led by Shannon Hall and Beth Knapik. I think some our parents loved this station most!
PTO made the rounds with Jodi Burns and Dan as they shared grant winners. The process is not quite complete but at this time, I am very happy to report over $12,000 in notified awards to student voice!
With a great deal of mixed emotions, we are on the countdown of days left at PVE for Kristen Byker and Ashley Sullivan. Kristen is headed back to continue her education with an incredible opportunity. Ashley has accepted a position with Boone Meadow in the resource department. We miss these two incredible educators! Ladies, best of luck and stay close to PVE with frequent visits!
