Branch of Service: Active Duty Army
Why You Chose The Military: I've always admired the military and what they do since I was a child. It's more than just a job, it's a family, and one that I want to be a part of. They push each other to do the best that they can do.
Why You Chose This Branch: There really is no specific reason other than that "boots on the ground" sort of thing. Army just seemed more appealing and the experiences that some soldiers are able to tell.
Future Profession: Combat Engineer
What you’ll remember most about QCSD? The community has always been the best thing about QCSD. A friendly community that is always full of surprises.

Patrick McCoy
Branch: Marine Corps
Why I Chose The Military: The military sets you up for a promising future and will give you all the things necessary to succeed. That’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. The soft skills you get from serving like discipline, leadership, courage, and confidence cannot be beat.
Why I Chose This Branch: The Marines Corps Values are Honor, Courage, Commitment. When I heard that, it really stuck out to me. The Marines are looked at as the “World’s Finest Fighting Force” and are held to an extremely high standard. The brotherhood I see from the Marines is one I very much look forward to being a part of. Not to mention, they have the best uniforms of all militaries in the world.
Future Profession: Not 100% sure what I want to do, hoping the Marines will give me time to decide what I want to do if/when I get out.
What I’ll Remember Most About QCSD? I’ll never forget the experiences I had in Middle School at Strayer. Met a lot of the friends I still have today and only have fun memories from that time.

Kieshla Rodriguez
Branch of Service: Air National Guard
Why You Chose The Military: I chose the military to stay active after high school and still be involved in something semi-athletic. I also wanted to give back and experience something that is out of my comfort zone. I mainly joined to challenge myself! Why You Chose This Branch: I chose the Air Guard because it is the least talked about and the environment from what I’ve experienced so far feels like family. I’m hoping to one day become active duty so I can hopefully fly a plane. Future Profession: My dream is to work for the CIA or FBI, but as of right now I want to become a forensic nurse or a criminal investigator. What you’ll remember most about QCSD? I will most definitely remember the humble teachers, some of my favorites being Mr. Smith and Mr. Soto! They taught me a lot and I really appreciate everything they have done for me as well as helping me become who I am today.
