Palm Vista School-Wide Expectations

Across our school campus, students are expected to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.

Acknowledgements for Positive Behavior

Students may receive acknowledgements for demonstrating appropriate behavior in the classroom and around the school campus. Acknowledgements might be a PAWS Ticket, Golden Ticket, PAWSITIVE Office Referral, Dojo points, etc. If your Golden Ticket is pulled in the drawing on Friday, you get to spin the Prize Wheel! Students with good behavior have the opportunity to participate in Panther Pride Day on a quarterly basis.

Response to Behavior

This flow chart is used to determine who responds to student behavior and what interventions are used to help the student learn the appropriate behavior.

Major Behavior Referrals

All students are expected to display safe and appropriate behavior while attending school and school related functions. Major offenses (listed below) may result in a behavior referral and possible suspension/expulsion. Additional resources on discipline and Education Code can be found below in the MUSD Student Handbook.

Need to request help for your child?

You can request help for your child in the area of academics, behavior, or attendance by speaking to your child's teacher or submitting the Request for Assistance to Ms. Kreutzer, MTSS Coordinator. Hard copies of the forms are available in the office or from your child's teacher. Older students can also refer themselves for assistance.
