Call for Proposals - extended deadline
Call for proposals - linking the UN Global Goals (new deadline)
We hope you are all well at this time. The SUII team are continuing to work from home for now. Given the ongoing restrictions and impact these are likely to have on project plans, we have decided to extend the deadline for the current call to 24th July. We expect to hold a Governing Board and Programme Committee to consider applications in late August, announcing successful awards soon after.
There is no requirement to submit an expression of interest prior to the main application. Please feel free however to contact us to discuss your project idea or if you have questions regarding the application process. We would encourage applicants to plan to carry out project activities at least in part on an online basis.
This call invites proposals that will accelerate progress towards the 2030 Agenda in Scotland and the wider world by considering the linkages between the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals. The importance of the interactions between goals was emphasised in the Future is Now, the UN's Global Sustainable Report for 2019. You can find full details and application form on our website:
Making Hay...or clutching at straws
This year’s Hay Festival took place online, rather than in its normal home in the Welsh border town. The literary festival provided a platform for a wide ranging group of authors of different backgrounds. Many of their contributions had implications for the UN’s Global Goals and helped demonstrate their inter-connectedness.
