Thank you for your patience last week with our rainy day and tornado warning carpools! We know it is not convenient when we have to stop carpool, but safety is always most important.

Our Blue Angels were EXCELLENT! They were very well-behaved and quiet as they sat and waited in the halls. I was very impressed by them!

We love all our parent volunteers and truly appreciate the help you provide. However, before signing up to volunteer you must be cleared by the Diocese of St. Augustine. If you have not started the background screening process, please visit https://www.pcapvb.org/forms to begin. You can check your status by logging in to your VIRTUS account or by emailing Lynn Woyt at lwoyt@pcapvb.org.

As of July, 2022, the Diocese now requires renewals to complete a 35 minute online training module called A Plan to Protect God’s Children, 4.0. If you took the Protecting God’s Children class before 2017, you will be prompted to complete the module when you login to your VIRTUS account when you go to renew.

As a reminder, 2 Lunch Duties (1 in the Fall and 1 in the Spring) and 2 Recess Duties (1 in the Fall and 1 in the Spring) are required of each family.

We have a limited number of extra yearbooks from the 2021-2022 school year. If you are interested in purchasing one, please send in this form along with a check for $55 to the front office.

1. If there is no officer on the street to guide cars in, PLEASE take turns turning into the lot. We need to have both lines turning in to avoid a back-up on either side of Palm Valley Road.

2. Please, please, please, pull all the way up close to the car in front of you! This not only helps us unload more cars, but also helps us get more cars off the street.

3. Please put your car in park when your car is being loaded or unloaded.

4. Please do NOT turn into the neighboring communities or businesses to make a u-turn when you leave our campus!

Inclement Weather:

During severe weather, we will not be using the holding area, and will only load 6 cars at a time. If your child does not come down in time, you will need to circle back around the school. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we need to keep our students and staff safe at all times. Thank you for understanding.

During times of lightning storms or tornado warnings, we will suspend carpool until it is safe to continue.

If your child tests positive for COVID, please notify me immediately via email (ddossantos@pcapvb.org).

Anyone who tests positive must stay at home for 5 full days before returning to school on Day 6, provided that there has been no fever for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines and that other symptoms are improving. (Please note that the first day of symptoms is considered Day 0.)

Siblings of positive cases may continue coming to school as long as they are not exhibiting ANY symptoms. Please use good judgment when sending siblings to school based on the amount of exposure they have had with the positive sibling.

Youth Ministry: Please be sure to register your youth using the link below so you can be added onto our weekly email list! Events for high school will begin Sept. 11th after the 5pm mass in the cultural center (more about this event will be sent out to our email list). Middle school events will occur in the coming months as we accumulate more adult volunteers but please still register your youth so you can be updated about possible events occurring in the ministry, at the parish or in the diocese!
