Things to Know About the Lanthanides

Lanthanides are shiny, reactive metals. They have only two outer shells. There are 15 elements in this group. Some people call Lanthanides rare-Earth elements or inner- transition elements. These elements are the strongest medals. Lanthanides are on the bottom of the Periodic Table because the table would be too wide. Lanthanides make superconductors, glass production and lasers.
