We also want to thank all the families and local businesses who graciously volunteered items for our raffle baskets and/or contributed towards our food sale. Especially the Philo Family and the Nocentino family for their very generous silent auction items! Thank you to all the families that cooked chili or baked delicious cakes and treats for the bake sale and cake walk.
Our entertainment was fantastic this year and we want to thank them too! Thank you to the Band "The Doyle Dads", Action Karate, The Doylestown Dance Center, and Will's Animal Balloons.
A big thank you shout out also goes to; our custodians, Mr. Bob, Mr. Art, and Ms. Jackie, the CB West Key club volunteers, the Lenape students who volunteered, all the Doyle families that volunteered during the day and the 6th graders that helped out too. Liz Barmach and Liana Price Gommel, who helped all day with the finances. Ms. Brigitte, Ms. Loraine, Ms. Arlene and Dr. Salvesen for all their assistance, especially for organizing the Gaga tournament, which will be taking place this week in school. The teachers and home room parents for helping the kids build such awesome scarecrows.

Thanksgiving Share 2016
During this Thanksgiving season, the staff and students of Doyle Elementary School plan to share the spirit of this time of warmth, caring, and love with families from our local neighborhood. We would like to share this project as an entire school community and create Thanksgiving baskets for our families who need extra support. Through this cooperative effort of Doyle’s staff, students, parents and community members, we can realize again the valuable lesson that real joy in life comes from sharing.
Please help us by reading the list on the second page of this notice, which will tell you what each classroom is asked to contribute. The Thanksgiving Share collection will be from
Wednesday, November 2 to Monday, November 14, 2016.
In order to have a balanced variety, we have suggested items for each classroom. Please see list below or check on our website.

October Asset #30: Responsibility
Alexa Bergmaier has always shown her family and her teachers how reliable she can be and will always lend a helping hand. She completes all school work before engaging in recreational activities. Alexa is also willing to help at home with no complaints when she is asked to do a job. A real life example of Alexa exhibiting responsibility was: One day she was not able to complete her job as kindergarten safety, she did not want her buddy to be left alone, so she took it upon herself to find a replacement.
She also prepares all her school work, supplies, and outfits the night before, so the next day runs smoothly.
