Butler Special Pretzel Sale
Girl Scout Troop 279 (Butler Students) will be holding a school pretzel sale on Friday, June 3, 2022.
The sale will be organized and run by Troop 279 as part of earning their Bronze Award. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Save The Children organization helping the children of Ukraine who are affected by the ongoing conflict. To ensure all students have an opportunity to purchase a pretzel or Pirate's Booty (alternative gluten-free), we will be doing a pre-order sale. If your child/ children would like to purchase a snack, please submit your pre-order, along with payment, to your child's teacher by Wednesday, May 25.
Be sure to submit a separate order form for each child in your household. Orders will be placed and delivered to every classroom at Butler on Friday, June 3. Butler 6th Grade - Camp America Field Trip Celebration - 5/9
Each year, we celebrate our 6th Grade class by holding a special event and last field trip as Butler Bears. This year, Camp America in Warrington hosted our Butler Bears for a great day of paddle boats, sports (soccer, hockey, kickball, basketball, volleyball, tennis), and other activities. The company served a delicious bbq lunch and the weather was perfect! Students had an amazing day!
Butler Night at Rita's Celebrity Scoop - 5/10
Butler Bear students were in for an exciting treat when our very own Teachers and Support Staff were the "celebrity scoopers" for Rita's Night in Chalfont on Tuesday, May 10th! During April, Butler organized a reading initiative that provided Rita's Coupons for students who met their independent and DEAR-time reading goal for the month! Thanks to Rita's in Chalfont for coordinating this initiative and the celebrity night where students could redeem their awards! It was fun to see everyone outside of school while enjoying a water ice!
Butler Third Grade Visits the Elmwood Zoo - 5/11
Our Butler 3rd Graders and staff enjoyed the wonder and excitement of the Elmwood Zoo. Children toured the complex and learned so many interesting facts and details about both exotic and local wildlife!

Butler PEN - Week of Service Celebration - Thank You Butler Community!
The Butler community is amazing! In late April, PEN students became "Change Makers" where they researched, planned, programmed, facilitated, and implemented a Week of Service to support local and national organizations. The Dimes for Doctors fundraiser raised over $2000 for Doctors without Borders. Over $700 was raised through the Save Our Seas Store to be donated to The Friends of the Delaware Canal. Lastly, items were donated to both the Bucks County Housing Group and Cradles for Crayons Philadelphia supporting those initiatives for local families and children. Here is a short video expressing our thanks! Click Here! Thank you Butler Community!
