Pirate Presence

WOW, this has been a great year, but we're not finished just yet! Thank you for all your support with helping your student be here at school this year! With that being said, we do still have a couple weeks left. We are above 86% of our student population being here 90% of the time. This is an increase over last year, so let's keep that going and finish strong. Pirate Presence is here to stay, so next year, let's plan to encourage your student to give their best effort to being here each and every day.

Thank you again for all your support and all you do for your student!

Pirates R.O.C.K. Character Trait: RESPECT

Pirates R.O.C.K. (Raising Outstanding Character Kids) is a program designed to surround our families with examples of strong character traits through school experiences, at home, and reinforced in their community. Each month our community focuses on a specific character trait and students are recognized for exhibiting these traits: Self Confidence, Pride, Responsibility, Citizenship, Compassion, Individuality, Self Control, Integrity, Perseverance, Respect, Honesty, and Cooperation.

May's #PiratesROCK trait is RESPECT: being considerate of others, property, rules & authority.

Bullying and Safety Concerns

Safety is one of our district’s top priorities and to help safeguard our school community, our district is now using SafeSchools Alert, a tip reporting service that allows students, staff, and parents to submit safety concerns to our administration.

You and your student can easily report tips on bullying, harassment, or any safety issue you're concerned about through SafeSchools Alert.

Every tip SafeSchools Alert receives about our district is immediately logged in the system and our administration is notified so that they can investigate and take appropriate action. And, tips may also be submitted anonymously if you prefer.

Together, using SafeSchools Alert, we can make our district a safer place to learn!
