Parents Prepare! Download PikMyKid App Today!!

In our ongoing efforts to enhance your children’s safety, Sprague and Half Day Schools will begin using the PikMyKid Dismissal Application beginning Monday, September 18. PikMyKid has been proven to simplify dismissal, reduce traffic congestion, and most importantly, improve overall safety.


The unique features of PikMyKid allow you, as parents, to easily change pick up modes, quickly delegate to an alternate individual for pick up, change to an ‘After School’ program, and even schedule for future pick up mode, pick up individual, and after school programs. This app allows you to be in full control of your child’s dismissal and it gives us, the school, complete information regarding dismissal and the ability to acknowledge every change and to instantly check your child’s dismissal status should you have a question.


Action item √ ~ Please download the PikMyKid app from your phone store and create a free account. Your child’s account is paired with the email address on file in PowerSchool. Watch the how to video for next steps.


Please take note - this platform will ELIMINATE the practice of sending emails or handwritten notes to school.


We are very excited about this addition and know you will be too. Check your emails over the next week for additional information and we will be on our way to a safer, quicker, and more efficient dismissal process.

Board of Education Meeting

The next Board of Education meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page. D103 board meetings will be live-streamed each month on our YouTube Channel. Members of the community should attend the meeting at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire if they would like to make a public comment. The public can also contact the Board at board@d103.org.

The Power of Play - How Play Can Help Children Learn Lessons for Life

In this virtual presentation, parents will hear from Dr. Rebecca Isbell, an internationally renowned educator & speaker on how play can be utilized to help advance learning for children. We will also be joined by Ms. Ann Hofmeier, principal at Sprague School, who will reflect on how teachers at Sprague use play daily to promote educational concepts in their classrooms.
