Hawk Happenings

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

Good Morning, HRBA Families!

We had a wonderful Open House yesterday, with about a dozen families visiting our school. Most had heard about us through friends/family and almost all were ready to fill out registration packets yesterday!! This is a wonderful testament to our program and the satisfaction of our current families. Thank you to those who came to show these new families around and to all who have sent people our way. Remember, you get up to a $250 tuition credit for any new family who signs up at the school. Today is the FIRST DAY to re-register for next year. You can do this through the online application on RenWeb or you can pick up or print a paper copy. You can access online re-registration at: https://hr-wa.client.renweb.com/pw/ If you need a paper packet, just print one in English or Spanish (attached below), call (253-272-7012), or email (Office@holyrosarybilingual.org) Ms. Nina and she will send one home for you in Spanish or English.

Tuition rates are listed below. If you receive financial aid this year, we are still waiting on the word from Fulcrum as to whether you will qualify for one of their $1300 tuition grants for next year. The good news, though, is that you do not need to wait to re-register. This year, you do not even need to schedule a conference with me! Since the main tuition rates went up 5% for next year, we are simply adding 5% to the current tuition rate for ALL financial aid families, as well. So, if you are receiving a financial aid package AND have completed your Fulcrum Financial Aid application, you may simply add 5% to what you are paying now and re-register! Once Fulcrum notifications come in, we will just add the grant to your financial contract. We are trying to simplify/streamline the process since I know it can be hard to take time off of work. With next week's conferences, I don't want to make parents take time off again in a couple of weeks. I am ALWAYS happy to meet with families, however, so if you would like to meet to discuss a change in your circumstances, please contact Nina and she can set an appointment up with me so that we can discuss your financial agreement for 2020-21.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please remember that current families have from today (Jan. 27th) until Sunday, Feb. 23rd to register and lock in their space for next year. To do this, we must have your COMPLETED registration packet AND the full registration fee ($150 for one student and $300 for 2 or more students). Once we have these two items, your space is saved! Beginning on Monday, Feb. 24th, new families are welcome to register and current families could lose their space. So, don't delay. Also, don't hesitate to check in with us if you have any questions or need assistance of any kind. We are always happy to help. We may well be wait-listed in grades Pre-K 3 through 3rd grade next year, so don't delay with your registration!

Don't forget, grandparents/special friends are invited to join us for lunch today at noon followed by a special musical performance at 1 pm. Have a wonderful day and Happy Catholic Schools Week!

Blessings,

Katie Dempsey
