Star Constellations REQUEST and Lesson Preview
Star Project Directions:
- Find a picture of yourself and put it in the middle of the star
- List 5 things about you, one on each point of the star. Some suggestions are provided on the template.
Please complete this project, print it off, and turn in to JILL YIRKOVSKY'S mailbox. Your sample will be copied by the committee and then returned back to you with the star constellation lesson materials.
This project serves a few purposes. First, it will be a quick way for your students to learn a little more about you. Secondly, it will be an easy way for your students' families to know who their Star Constellation group leader is, and be able to put a name with a face. (Your star will be sent home with each of the students after the lesson.) Finally, your star project will serve as a model for students to complete their own. All students will be asked to complete a star project at home and return it back to school on Monday, October 1st.
See the lesson below for details:

I am the oldest of four and have two brothers and one sister. My sister is a middle school special ed teacher. Chris and I have been married for almost six years. We have two kids. Nathan is 4 and Violet is 2. We have two dogs, Roxy (pug mix) and Lucy (yellow lab).
This summer I read a book for fun, which I haven’t done since before I had kids!

I almost passed on the interview at Hammerschmidt because my dad passed away the day they called me. However, something told me to call them back and take the interview. 18 years later, I’m so glad that I did!
