Camp Invention
We were once again excited to host Camp Invention at our Wheelock campus this summer! Camp Invention is a unique out-of-school-time elementary enrichment experience with a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) focus for children in our community, for one week during the summer.
Miss Clare Foley and Mrs. Naomi Pierce, along with our LIT ( leader in training) Amelia Way did an amazing job with our campers! Campers worked through the four modules of Spacecation, Marble Arcade, Robotic Aquatics and the National Inventors Hall of Fame Attic. It was a fun week for the whole group!
Papers for a Cause
Our athletes and coaches from the girls and boys soccer and football teams recently helped sell newspapers in support of the Laurel Run and the Resource Center! Thanks to everyone involved for their time and energy towards a good cause.
Diving for the Bronze
Congrats to Elizabeth Pucci-Schaefer (pictured in orange) for her recent bronze medal finish in the AAU National Championships in San Antonio, TX!
Would you like to apply for and interview to work for FCSD all in one day? Administrators will be on hand this Friday, August 12 from 10-11:30am in our High School Library to conduct interviews for multiple openings. Please bring a form of ID. We look forward to meeting you and potentially welcoming you into our #fredoniafamily!
