Parent Teacher Conferences
We enjoyed meeting with our families to share and brag about our wonderful AIS students! Thank you for your participation and partnership and for helping to stay on track with the scheduled meetings. Thanks to our wonderful PTO for providing the snacks and lunch to keep our faculty energized over the two days. We look forward to seeing you all back to a regular routine next week.
CM2 Bake Sale-Mon-Fri, 3/4-3/8
We will have our annual bake sale to benefit the CM2 France field trip on the week of March 4th each afternoon. Our CM2 students will bake homemade goodies to sell in front of the school or inside reception all week from 3:15-3:45 pm on M, T, Th, & Friday, and 2:00 - 2:30 pm on Wednesday, March 6th.
Coffee with Jacques-Tue., 3/5 8:30 - 9:30 am
Come share your thoughts and ask questions about school life as you enjoy coffee with our Head of School.
MAP Parent Workshops-Thur., 3/7
If you have not yet attended a MAP workshop, please plan on attending one of the last two workshops for this session with Jacques in order to receive MAP assessment results. The same content is delivered at each. You do not need to attend more than one. If you have attended one previously this year or last year, you do not need to attend again. Next week's workshops are as follows:
- Thursday, March 7th @ 8:30 - 9:30 am
- Thursday, March 7th @ 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Talent Show-Thur., 3/7 - Fri., 3/8
The student council is hosting an upcoming Talent Show in March. Students in CP and up are eligible to participate. Students in CP-CE1-CE2 will perform on March 7th and students in CM1-5è will perform on March 8th. The shows will take place in the auditorium from 2:00-3:00 pm and parents are welcome to arrive at school between 1:50pm and 2:00pm to grab a seat and watch the show. AIS Community Picnic-Fri., 3/8
The PTO will be hosting an upcoming AIS Community Picnic on Friday March 8th after school (the last day of school before spring break). AIS families are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or yard chairs, food, snacks, and enjoy a potluck picnic. The bake sale will also offer usual treats for sale plus students may enjoy shaved ice/snow cones from Sips Coffee House. We hope you can all join us to celebrate Spring.
Enrollment for 2019-2020
Enrollment for next school year will begin next week. Be on the lookout for more tuition and enrollment details via email. To discuss enrollment considerations, please reach out to Mathilde or school leadership as needed.
Learning Journey- Revised Date, Thur. 3/28
Please note we have moved the Learning Journey originally scheduled for March 5th until after Spring Break. We look forward to welcoming Maternelle and prospective incoming families to join us for a sneak peek into life for AIS students in Cycle 1 on March 28th. We will send more information and invitations out shortly.
