Construction Update
Hey Granger Families,
Thank you for your patience as we get this construction process going. I know it seems slow, but ultimately we need to make sure this is done right. There are a lot of moving parts and entities involved in this process and we have to go step by step. You should see some fencing going up next Tuesday, a week from today, and the process is rolling from there.
We have had many questions about water and how we will get water to the new facilities. Granger ISD, the City of Granger, and the Grove (new subdivision) have entered into a three-party agreement to get water to the high school site. The Albert Repa Estate allowed an easement through their property to push water up to the new high school. We closed on the easement leading up to the school and that work will begin here very soon as well.
We are so grateful for the Repa family’s willingness to work with us for the future. Again, our partnership with the city has benefited all of us. When we work together, we win together. We would like to thank them for their efforts.
We are currently in the process of designing the new athletic facilities, but our first promise was to get the school going. Construction for the school will take about 18-22 months. Completion is expected in the summer of 2025 to start the fall of 2025 in the new high school. It does not take as long to build athletic facilities as it does a high school, so that process will go a little bit faster once we have an adopted design.
I will keep you posted more frequently once the construction process begins with pictures and updates. Expect to hear from me once a month on construction alone. Additionally, details on the bond projects will be available on the Granger ISD website.
Get ready, exciting things are happening.
Thanks for your support!
Go Lions!

Did you know?
People use to say "prunes" when taking pictures.
In the 1840s, it was considered childish to smile for pictures so it became popular for people to say “prunes” instead of “cheese” in order to keep their mouths taut.
(You know you just tried saying prunes to see if this is a fact.)
Motivational Moment
Each day comes bearing its gifts. Untie the ribbon. - Ann Ruth Schabacker
Jokes
She got out a pen and paper and said "thank goodness, what are they?"
