Alex's Lemonade Stand

Tomorrow, JUNE 7th SCS will host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand in honor of Bridget Smith. Bridget is an 8th grader at H.W. Mountz school and is a cancer survivor. The lemonade stand will be held in the SCS school yard during the students recess times and Bridget will be there handing out lemonade.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra "Alex" Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying her legacy of hope.

Any and all donations will lead to a cure! Checks can be made out to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Please help SCS and Bridget fight cancer one cup at a time! Any questions please contact Erin Quinn at 732-547-0324 or ERINLQUINN@AOL.COM

THANK YOU!

Quick updates

Congratulations Prek-3 and Prek-4 Students: Stepping up and reaching new heights! We wish all of our Prek-3 and Prek-4 Students a safe and blessed summer. Congratulations on a wonderful school year!

Bicycle Safety:
As the weather continues to get warmer, we often see an increase in students riding their bikes to school. Please note that students must wear their helmet at all times while riding their bicycle. If by chance a student arrives to school on a bicycle without a helmet, we do not let them ride their bicycle home, and parents must come to school to either pick up their child or drop off a helmet. Thank you for your cooperation.

Run with Veronica! 5k & One-Mile Fun Run June 16th

On Saturday, June 16th, we will all Run with Veronica, to defeat Hodgkin Lymphoma and support the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Veronica Szenzenstein, SCS class of 2017, and current freshman at Trinity Hall, has been battling stage four Hodgkin Lymphoma for the past several months. In collaboration with the New Jersey State Police, Trinity Hall, and the Spring Lake Police Department, we have scheduled a 5K and One-Mile Fun Run for all of our students, family members, parishioners, and friends to come together to run with and support Veronica and all of our loved ones that may be currently battling cancer.

Register for the run here: https://www.raceforum.com/veronica
