An Event by the Community for the Community

Greetings Everyone,

This is Genna George. I am currently a junior at BHS and in my second year of the Driven leadership program. This is a final reminder to please come out and help the DRIVEN Program this Saturday.

On Saturday, May 16th from 9am to 5pm there will be a Drive One for Driven fundraiser at Burlington High School in order to raise money to continue the Driven program. We are partnering with Lynch Motors and asking people to do a ten minute test drive cars to raise money. For every test drive done, Lynch will donate $20 to the Driven program, but you must be 18 or older to drive. I would really appreciate if you would come down to Drive for Driven, and bring spouses, friends, family, or whoever you can to help out! Every test drive helps raise more money so that we can keep the program going. Ten minutes could turn into ten thousand dollars used to improve our community.

Driven is a huge part of our community today, but we can't keep it running without a little bit of money to help us out. Just this year alone we raised over $2,000 in one day for Love Inc, filled 14,000 eggs with over $3,000 in prizes for a thousand kids, held multiple student led projects including free plane rides, helped special Olympics, visited nursing homes, and so much more! One of our biggest projects is helping to transfer freshmen and new students into our school so that they feel more confident and comfortable in the school environment. We would really love to continue to be just as successful next year as we have been this year.

I really hope you will considering joining us in the Drive One for Driven event. If you can join us, please respond that you’re in to help at

Thank you so much!
