After School Program Update
Although it was a short week here at SRES, our ASP students were very busy.
Wednesday - Outside night: We played kickball this week. We reviewed the rules and positions. Then split into teams and played a game. By the end of our game we had learned good sportsmanship!
Thursday - Grafton Nature Museum: Sam from the Grafton Nature Museum joined us. She taught us how to make nature journals which we will be filing over the next few ASP school days. Ask your ASP student about their journal. We also learned a new game called rock, fish, and bear. It has become our new favorite game!
Friday - Board game night: Board game night is always one of our favorites. We learn how to share, be good partners and to have good sportsmanship.
Reminder: Our evenings are starting to get cooler. Please send your student(s) with a light jacket or sweatshirt. We are outside for ASP recess, Wednesday and Thursday evenings weather permitting.
