Parent Teacher Conferences!

Here is the link to the sign up genius page for conferences.

If you need an interrupter please let me know and I can set one up. Times for interrupters are limited and I ask that we all try to be flexible as we try to schedule for everyone's needs.

We need dry erase markers! I have ran out of the four or five boxes that I bought in September and we are running low. If any of you can help out and send in a box, we would be so grateful!! Thank you for all that you do for our students.

This Week

In Math we did more adding and counting on. We even added in (pun intended) the addition symbols.

We read Farfallina and Marcel a beautiful story of friendship and reviewed vocabulary words like cocoon, caterpillar, and goosling.

We also started learning about Martin Luther King and all of the great things he did for the country.

Next Week

Math: We will be going back to do more counting on/adding.

Reading: We will read Then and Now.
Sight words: see, look

Letter of the Week: Oo

Social Studies: more Martin Luther King Jr.

Snack Time

Thank you so much to the families that generously brought in a healthy snack for our 18 students.

Next up on the snack calendar is:

Monday: Liam

Tuesday: Liana

Wednesday: Raleigh

Thursday: Michaela

Friday: Averie (Happy Birthday)

Scholastic Book Orders

I have placed scholastic order forms in your folders today. If you are interested in ordering you have two options.

1) You can connect to our class's scholastic ordering page online and pay online with a credit card. If you go to the website and enter as you class code NMC47 you can pay online.

2) You can connect to our class online and then send in a check payable to Peak View Elementary School. We'll handle the rest.

Connecting to our class' scholastic page we earn points as a class where we can buy free books and supplies for the class. Which is how we keep our class library up to date and exciting for our students.

Contact Me

You can always reach me by calling the school or email. Email is my preferred form of communication because it the fastest way to reach me. I will always respond to your calls or emails because having good communication is key to your child's success.
