STATE OF TEXAS 2021-2022 SCHOOL REPORT CARD
A copy of the State of Texas 2021-2022 School Report Card for Liberty Elementary School can be found on our website at the following link. https://www.lisd.net/Page/9406
This is a report card required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. It is to be sent to the parents and guardians of every child enrolled in a Texas public school. The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and on student enrollment, class size average, and financial expenditures.
Dear parents/guardians,
As a reminder, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires anti-victimization lessons be taught in all public schools. Texas legislature also requires parents/guardians to opt-in to these lessons. In Kindergarten-5th grade, we will cover the Senate Bill 9 (SB9) topics on the prevention of Child Abuse and Family Violence.
- If you have opted-in to lessons on the prevention of Child Abuse, your student(s) will receive Second Step’s Child Protection Unit (CPU) lessons
- If you have opted-in to lessons on the prevention of Family Violence, your student(s) will receive a presentation on Healthy Families
*If you opted out of these lessons, your student(s) will NOT participate in the applicable lessons
Please see this link for previews and more information regarding these lessons. This letter is available in English on page 1 and in Spanish on page 2 of the linked document. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out!
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Banda

Recognize LISD Staff Members
Do you know that our Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp initiated a new acknowledgement program for all LISD staff members this school year? Anyone can honor or thank any staff member by simply going to lisd.net/Recognize. Each recognition will be viewed by Dr. Rapp and a nice commemorative card will be generated with the statement and author printed on it and then presented to staff members throughout the school year. Thank you for your consideration in taking the time to submit recognitions this way.
STOPit App
The LISD community now has access to STOPit, an anonymous reporting system that allows individuals to submit concerns at any time, from anywhere. This program is accessible online and via a mobile app. The app will be added to all student devices and teachers and campus administrators will continue throughout the semester to ensure students are aware of the new reporting method and know how to use it. Keep reading for additional details and to download the app.
How can I access STOPit?
- Online | Visit STOPitsolutions.com.
- Mobile App | The app is available on all district-issued student devices. Download the app on your personal device by searching STOPit in the Apple or Android app stores.
