Council for Aid to Education
CAE (the Council for Aid to Education) is a national organization based in New York City that provides assessment and research services to multi-state education consortia, higher education institutions, K–12 schools, educational publishers and service providers, state and local education agencies, and credentialing bodies.
Collegiate Learning Assessment
In 2002, CAE pioneered the use of Performance Tasks by developing the Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA) to evaluate critical-thinking and written-communication skills of college students. CLA+ CareerConnect addresses the skills gap and solves the college to career problem by leveling the playing field for recent college graduates.
College and Work Readiness Assessment
CWRA+ is an innovative assessment designed explicitly for the twenty-first-century student. CWRA+ measures critical-thinking and written-communication skills for middle school and high school students. In the knowledge economy, student ability to access, structure, and use information is more important than ever.
