Update on COVID-19 at Lauriston School-5 May, 2022

Please remember to keep us in the loop on your family and child/children’s situation if someone in your whanau tests positive for COVID-19.

We have 1 active COVID-19 case in our school - This brings total cases in the school to:

2 families isolating

3 students isolating

1 student positive

Current Classroom numbers: Mt Winterslow-Opihako (0), Mt Somers-Maungakiekie (1), Mt Alford-Te Maka Kaha (0), Mt Harper-Mahaanui (0) and Mt Hutt-Huirapa (0).


An Overview of Recovered COVID Cases to date in the School:

As you will see below, 36 students have had COVID-19 thus far with 63% of our student population as yet to contract the illness. We are keeping a close eye on cases developing within our school, and should cases increase we will be asking all Year 4-6 students to return to wearing masks indoors. A decision around this will be made early next week.
