Kleb Intermediate
Edition 21: February 21, 2021
Hello Bearcub families,
I know this past week was difficult for our Kleb and Klein family. Like so many families in Texas, our Kleb community has experienced loss of electricity, water, and damage to our homes. As we transition back this week, please know that our campus is here to help support our students, staff, and families through the recovery process. I am so grateful for the kindness that the community has already shown for one another, and I know that spirit of service will continue on over the next several weeks.
Our campus will be open tomorrow, February 22nd for our on campus students and online classes will resume for our Klein online students. Buses will resume their normal operations and our Klein2Go meals distribution will resume its regular schedule this Tuesday, February 23rd. Our focus this week will be to welcome our students back and reconnect with them while slowly transitioning to get everyone back on track. As communicated in district updates this past week, Klein ISD will receive a waiver from the Texas Education Agency for the missed instructional days, exempting us from adding additional days to the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
The newsletter this week is an abbreviated one and just includes the updates and adjustments we have made to some campus events. We will be sending out our usually one next week that will included more detailed information about upcoming student opportunities.
As we start to recover from this past week, please let us know if your family has any specific needs or concerns.
