Seniors! Please note:
The colleges and universities will be on Winter Break/Christmas Holiday and transcripts not received prior to their closure may not meet the required deadline.
The Counseling and Registrars’ offices will be closed for Christmas/Winter Holiday (December 21st – January 8th). No transcripts will be sent during this time.
Seniors: If you are planning to attend Texas A&M – Texarkana in the fall, there is a scholarship opportunity available for you. Please see Mrs. Demby in the class of 2019 office area for details.
Attention Dual Credit Students
Payment for dual credit classes are due by December 20th!
Payments may be submitted on your MyLoneStar account or in person at LSC University Park.
Students are responsible for paying charges by the payment due date. Students not paying by the due date may be DROPPED from their classes.
SOFTBALL!!
Softball try-outs for those who are not in the athletic period will be January 18, 19, and 21. You must have a physical and all electronic forms completed and turned in to the Trainer by Wednesday, January 16 before you can try-out.
Please stop by T14 and speak with Coach Wilson prior to the deadline for forms if you plan on trying out.
Open to grades 9 through 12 in 2020. Students begin now to sign up and submit from grades 9-12.
First time ever offered to students of ALL grades and we want those students who are considering higher education to have every opportunity out there available.
Earning $500 has never been so easy. Just make a list of colleges and you’re on your way! No essay to write or no grade requirements, and no application to fill out.
It’s never too early to start planning and saving.
Support Our Towel/Blanket Drive for the Dogs of the Montgomery County Animal Shelter!
Students/Staff can bring in gently used towels/blankets and drop them off at the KORC in our “Paws for the Dogs of MCAS” box.

Panthers Helping Panthers
The Criminal Justice Club is filling up the Klein Oak Food Pantry.. Last year we had a huge success and donated over one thousand pounds of food to the Houston Pantry.. this year we are collecting food to start up our very own pantry here at Klein Oak. Let's see if we can double the donation amount this year!

The boxes are from the Houston Food Bank and are clearly labeled.
We would like to begin the collection now through Friday, November 2.
Progress Reports and Report Cards Are Available Through Family Access
Progress Reports and Report Cards will no longer be printed. They will be available online through Family Access.
Directions on How to Access:
Report Cards/Progress Reports are located under the Portfolio button and STAAR Access Codes are located under the Online Forms button for completed 3rd through 12 graders.
The Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Scholarship
The Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Scholarship is for graduating senior women and the application is now available. This $1,000 scholarship is given to a senior young woman who has made the effort during her high school career to volunteer her time and talents to her community. The primary criterion used to evaluate applicants is their COMMUNITY SERVICE, but academic performance and financial need are also considered in determining the scholarship recipient(s). Applications are available online at www.cwjf.org, then click on Community Outreach à Scholarships. The application deadline is January 11, 2019. One-on-one interviews will be scheduled as part of the application process.

Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Awards Grants Totaling $135,000 to 3 Klein ISD Schools
As of this week, we will move to weekly tablet distributions. Tablets will be distributed on Thursdays to all students who meet the payment deadline of Tuesday by the end of the day.
