• If students are absent for a final exam and they are excused, they must schedule a time to make the exam up.
• Report Cards will be mailed home On Tuesday March 28th.

• Students can give blood if they are 16 or older but must have parent consent to give blood at 16.

An OSU representative surprised HRVHS students this week with some exciting news! This year there were almost 3,000 qualified applicants for the OSU Presidential Scholarship, and it was only offered to 127 students. Five of these scholarships were offered to HRVHS students. HRV was also the site to have the most recipients of the scholarship. We are so proud of our Eagles!

Parents, Students and Staff please be aware of the no stopping and parking signs on Indian Creek Rd

near Hood River Valley High School during school hours. These signs were placed years ago to prohibit

students from being dropped off or picked up on Indian Creek Rd during high traffic times. We

understand that it may be easier and, more importantly to many people, quicker than entering the

parking lot. The reality is that vehicles stopping/parking between the entrances to the school on the

west side creates a visual barrier to traffic flow for people trying to exit and enter the lots. People

stopping/parking on the east side of the road creates a danger for pedestrians trying to cross a road with no crosswalk during a very busy traffic time. Enforcement of the parking and stopping regulation may occur due to the dangerousness of the situation. Thank you for your understanding and adherence to the traffic law.

• Class of 2023 Graduation Ceremony - Friday June 9th 6pm - Henderson Stadium at HRVHS.
• Senior Pictures need to be submitted by March 1st
• Graduation cap and gown deliveries April 26.
