VIP Breakfast - Friday, March 27

Our wonderful PTA has planned the annual VIP Breakfast for our Raymore Families this Friday, March 27 from 7:00-8:15 a.m. in the gym. Chris Cakes will be here again this year for entertainment and yummy pancakes. When students are finished they may go to the art room to watch a movie so parents may leave. Please plan to stop by the gym, say "hello" to our families, and enjoy some pancakes. This is always a well attended event by families. Thank you for your support!

MAP Assessment Info.

It's that time of the year we are beginning to discuss and prepare for our MAP assessment. We will administer our MAP test to all third and fourth grade students the weeks of April 27- May 1 and May 4- May 8. There are several changes to the administration of the test this year due to students taking it online. We continue to get updates from DESE and our district. Soon we will be sharing more specific information with those that are administering the test. Meanwhile, Seth (our onsite testing coordinator) will be meeting with third and fourth grade teachers to discuss how to best help students utilize the online tools they will need to manipulate when taking the assessment. A mandatory MAP training is scheduled for April 2 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in our library (staff from Stonegate will also join us). The following staff should plan to attend: third grade teachers, fourth grade teachers, sped teachers, Valerie Collom, Meghan Gordon, and elementary sped paras. (A calendar invite was sent to all staff. However, only those who will be administering the assessment need to attend the training.)

Marking Attendance in SIS

Please be sure when you mark a student absent that you mark "A" and then click "Mark all day". This will mark them absent all day. If you have any questions about this, let Karla know. Thank you!
