******** WELCOME BACK, BULLDOGS! ********

Open House was a Huge success!

Welcome Freshmen!

Freshman Academy is the name given to a philosophy that we embrace at Burns High School. Freshman students have classes that are generally close together with many of the same teachers so that they can build strong relationships with students. These relationships, as well as the high levels of communication among teachers and between home and school, offer students added support to make a smooth transition from middle school to high school. The Freshman Academy Coordinator (Heather Cornwell, pictured to the right) and the Freshman Counselor (Emily Cooley) are both available to offer additional assistance to provide a successful freshman experience. Please feel free to reach out to either of these ladies if you need assistance for your freshman student. Our goal is to help every student begin their journey at Burns High School in a positive and successful manner. Go Bulldogs!
