Camp Invention is a one-week enrichment program in the summer where your child's creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways. The top priority is to inspire future innovators and build confidence in the natural ability to dream and create.

Kindergarten Roundup

Important Things to Remember:
  • There is NO reason for a parent to attend Kindergarten Roundup if their child is already enrolled in LCISD. So, current PK3/PK4 parents do not need to attend.
  • We would like for the Roundup to be parent-only events since there will not really be anything fun for the kiddos to do here - just paperwork!
  • More Kindergarten Roundup details are below.

Dress Code

As the weather is getting warmer, please visit the LCISD Student Handbook to review our district's dress code. It starts on page 46 in the handbook. Here is the link to access the Student Handbook.

Some things we'd like to highlight from the dress code:

  • any attire worn on the lower body must fall in the knee area. The shorts must be hemmed. Shorts, split skirts, dresses, and walking shorts must all meet these criteria.
  • geometric or unusual patterns shaved or cut in hair is prohibited for girls and boys.
  • non-natural color variations in hair for girls and boys is prohibited.
  • hair shall be clean and well-groomed and not covering the eyes. Hair must be maintained so that it is off the face.
