AE Assessments
Don't forget to administer the four AE Assessments (planner, organizational tools, note-taking, and Levels of Thinking and Questioning) between January 22nd-February 5th. Please be sure to check in with your AVID Community of Practice representatives to learn more about the calibrated Levels of Thinking and Questioning assessment. You can also access this assessment in the AVID Elementry Shared Folder. To reach certification on Essential 4.1, please include the opportunity to analyze data results at your February or March site team meeting.
AE Weekly
Remember you can access these on the AVID Elementary Weekly website or find all of the articles from 2014-15 and 2015-16 in the AVID Elementary Shared Folder. This month the resources include information on El Nino, Exotic Animal Laws, and Islamic Tiles to tell a Story. The Critical Reading and ELL articles are about ocean changes and biometric identification.
MyAVID Launches
If you were able to attend Summer Institute, please remember you can still access your launches on MyAVID. This will continue to support you with implementation of AVID strategies. If you were unable to attend Summer Institute, I am working on gaining access to these professional learning opportunities for you.
