history

it was controlled by Spain and now it is independent. it broke away on August 6,1825.


the official languages are Spanish, Quechua, and Aymara.


the flag is yellow, red, green, and in the middle is a Bolivian coat of arms.

geographical information

Bolivia is in central south america, and southwest of Brazil


there is a volcanic activity Irruputuncu, also there is Olca-Paruma (this is a volcano that is active). there is lake Lago Titicaca, one more thing is rugged Andes mountains with a highland plateau Altiplano.

they have a Republic government but the new constitution defines Bolivia as a "social Unitarian state"

the leader is president Juan Evo Morales Ayma and vice president Alvaro Garcia Linera both of them since January 22, 2006.

there are amazing lakes and old culture buildings that look amazing and some are from the Inca.


tourists should see lake Titicaca is an amazing lake that native people long ago found and is the bordering point of Peru and Bolivia. another one is Tiwanaku this is one of the most important precursors to the Inca empire.
