The Danger of Malware
By: Sam Starley
Definition: a malicious software that someone has created to steal personal information from you.
Malware contains Viruses, Trojan Horses, and Spyware. Viruses can be sent through email attachments. Trojan Horses hide in downloads but then show up and steal personal information once you've already downloaded it. Spyware secretly steals your personal info.
How to Avoid Malware
To avoid Malware you can install an AntiVirus Program on your computer. It will help protect your computer from viruses. You can also set up a fire wall. A fire wall only allows things you give permission to leave your computer. One more way to avoid Malware is to have Common sense. If you get an email attachment from someone you don't know DO NOT download the attachment.
