Grade Level Student Goals

January

Special Education

Language Arts-Students will learn to identify, write and produce the sound for letters D, P, B, J as well as review sight word previously taught.


Math-Students will be able to count sets up to 10.

Pre-K

Language Arts- Students will be able to identify 20-26 uppercase and lowercase letters and be able to produce 12/14 sounds.


Math- Students will be able to identify 8 numbers, count 6 sets 0-10 and be able to count to 18

Kindergarten

Language Arts-Students will be able to blend sounds to form words.


Math-Students will be able to identify and write numbers 0-20 and count to 75 by 1's.

First Grade

Language Arts-Students will be able to blend, read and spell long vowel words as well as discuss the beginning, middle and end of a story.


Math-Students will be able to describe attributes of 3D solids and their names.

December

Special Education

Will work on letter S identification and the sound it makes, following multi-step directions and practicing personal relationships.

Pre-K

Language Arts-Students will be able to identify 15-20 uppercase/lowercase letters and produce 10-12 sounds.


Math-Students will be able to identify 7 numbers, count 5 sets 0-10 and count to 15.

Kindergarten

Language Arts-Students will be able to identify and produce 26 letter names and sounds.


Math-Students will be able to compare numbers using language such as less than, more than, equal to.

First Grade

Language Arts- Students will be able to read R-controlled words (born, farm, turn).


Comprehension- Focus on literary elements of a story (character, setting, problem, solution).


Math-Students will be able to Identify 2D shapes by their attributes (vertices, sides).

When your child attends school Monday through Thursday with no absences, he/she earns a privilege on the Friday of that particular week. We refer to this as Fantastic Fridays (FF) on the monthly calendar.
