5th grade families, a separate email was sent to you about your child's device.
This week we enjoyed seeing Hunt Club Alumni as they prepare to graduate. It was great to have them back "home" at Hunt Club :) Enjoy the pictures below.
Next week starts our school wide count down, please see the flyer included for information on that as well.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Stoffers
How do I return the device I borrowed from the district?
Families of SD308,
Over the last year, our district has loaned many Chromebooks, iPads, and hotspots to students. As we approach the end of the school year, we will be collecting equipment from all students that borrowed “curbside” devices in grades preschool through 4th-grade.
Please plan to drop off devices and chargers at the District Administration Center located at 4175 Route 71, Oswego, IL 60543. We will be facilitating a drive-thru device drop-off.
May 26th - 1 pm - 4 pm
May 27th - 8 am - 4 pm
May 28th - 8 am - 4 pm
If you do not return the device by 4 pm on May 28th, we will apply charges to your account in the amount of $320 per device for the missing equipment. If you do not return the charger, the replacement cost will be $50 per charger.
If your student is enrolled in summer school, they will keep their device until the end of the program, at which time they will turn in their device and charger.
Celebrating OUR Staff
Mrs. Anderson has a long history in SD308 and Hunt Club. She has worked at Hunt Club since it opened in 2009 and started working in the district in 2000. During her time at HC she has worn numerous hats. Mrs. Anderson started as the computer lab teaching assistant, then moved to the library, and for the last 3 years she has been a classroom TA. She plans to travel around the United States and visit the National Parks, but those travel plans, unfortunately, have been put on hold for now. Instead she will fill her time with a lot of projects around her house, while also catching up on sewing and reading. She still plans to work, part time, for her husband's carpenter business doing the bookkeeping.
Mrs. Kirchner has spent 28 years in Education and 18 of those years she was in SD308! Her fondest memory was being the pioneer teacher for our Dual Language Program. She plans to enjoy winters in Florida and California where her two youngest children reside, traveling around the globe, and spending time with loved ones. She will be greatly missed and we know she will find herself back visiting students and staff at Hunt Club when she is able.
Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Kirchner and Mrs. Anderson on their retirements! Thank you for your dedication and love for all our kiddos at Hunt Club.
Finally, Mrs. Kontos is celebrating 25 years in the district. Congratulations to Mrs. Kontos...we LOVE having you at Hunt Club!
All Hunt Club library books were due on Friday, May 14th.
Please make sure all library books are turned in. Parents, please double check!
Remote Students:
Do you have Hunt Club library books checked out from last school year? Please drop them off to Hunt Club as soon as possible. If the books are lost, payment can be made with cash or check (payable to Hunt Club Elementary).
Contact Mrs. Witwicki with any questions or concerns.

Dental Examination Required for all kinder and 2nd grade parents!
Dental Examination
Required for Kindergarten and 2nd grade
In the fall of 2005, the State of Illinois began requiring a complete dental examination for students in kindergarten and 2nd grade.
Students in kindergarten and 2nd grade for the school year 2020-2021 need an examination dated on or after November 15, 2019 to meet this requirement. You may call and ask your dentist to fill out the form on any exam completed since that time.
Call your dentist today to make an appointment, as the appointments fill up quickly. Please contact the nurse if a lack of insurance is keeping you from obtaining a dental exam. Again, a dental exam is a part of the health requirements per the State of Illinois. Completed forms may be sent with your student to school, or faxed directly to my office at the number below.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Nurse Randi at 630-636-2802 or rspinelli@sd308.org.
AMAZON SMILE
