How to Register

Registration is now open. Click THIS REGISTRATION LINK and use your IJRU account credentials to set up your club and roster and attend the Virtual RSC - IJRU Qualifier. Registration is due by April 15th and must include all events athletes will be competing in. A non-refundable flat fee of $30 per athlete should also be submitted to RSC by April 15th. Athletes must be registered by the coach or team manager under the umbrella of the club.

If a club who has already registered and paid for athletes is registering additional athletes, please submit the additional payment to RSC.

In order to register your athletes in the registration portal, you will first need to have an IJRU account. Once that is set up, follow the numbered prompts on the right-hand side of the screen to create your club, find the event, add participating members, and enter athletes into events.

The event you are looking for is in the EVENTS section of the registration portal and is named RSC-IJRU Qualifier. Choose" Roster" to add your roster to this event. Please let us know before April 15th if you are having difficulty. We will not be accepting late registrations (event entries due by April 15th ) as there is much subsequent work to be done after the initial registrations. Here is a separate registration link for judges.

Judging

Judges for the RSC - IJRU Qualifier and The IJRU Virtual World Championship

For the RSC - IJRU Qualifier Event

Judges must be RSC members in good standing and be level 2 certified in the judging discipline they are judging. Refer to the IJRU Judging Nomination Requirements Judging will take place May 7-17

REGISTER YOUR JUDGES HERE By April 15th.

** Clubs who have previously registered judges, and who wish to make changes to the roster should click on the link and indicate their changes in the space provided. Please check that your existing judges are still available.

We recognize that judges will be doing a little extra duty for this qualifying event, as this is the first time judging remotely. For this reason, and for this event only, we are providing judges with a one-time honorarium of $125 for judging the freestyle events and $75 for judging speed events. It is a flat fee and not per event judged. Judges will receive updating on the rule and judging changes that apply to the virtual tournament.

** NOTE

If Moving on to the IJRU Virtual World Championship

Each NGB will need to supply IJRU certified judges to help support the event. Please review the 2021 Judging Nomination Requirements for full details about the number of judges your NGB will need to supply.

The updated online judging certification and recertification courses are now available through the IJRU Learning Portal. Please make sure that all of your judges receive their level 3 certification prior to the April 1, 2021 judge nomination submission deadline, which remains unchanged. IJRU would like to provide additional training for judges.

Video Submissions

How to Record and Submit a video

The video submission guidelines will be exactly the same as those for the IJRU Virtual World Championship. This will allow athletes to use the same video for both events, should they choose to do that. View the video recording and submission guidelines to learn about the camera settings and video requirements for all event submissions. Judges will not award points for any skills or speed steps/multiples that are completed if a member of the team is outside of the field of view. These guidelines will help ensure that we are able to clearly view the athletes and properly judge all submissions. We may update the recommendations, so please check back regularly for the most recent tips for video submissions.

All athletes will need to stand in front of the camera and show the IJRU 2021 Confirmation Code to verify the video submission. You can print out the code or show a digital version from a phone or tablet. This code must be visible in any videos uploaded for the RSC-IJRU Qualifier Event.
