Can I enter if I have not Previously? Or can I edit my current entries?
Yes. RSC has elected to reopen registration. This means that you can enter up to the deadline or edit your existing entries.
- Decide if your club has athletes who want to try to qualify for the 2021 IJRU Virtual Championship
- Make sure all athletes are RSC members in good standing
- Choose which events your athletes want to enter
- Register your athletes by April 15th, 2021 HERE. Athletes must be registered by the coach or team manager under the club umbrella
- Register your judges by April 15th, HERE. Please make sure you fulfill your judging quota as described in the judging section below.
- Submit registration payment of $30 per athlete to RSC by April 15th (see instructions below)
- Once registration is closed, you will receive instructions on where to upload your videos.
- Practice and record videos for uploading by April 30th, 2021
Please be aware that we can only work with information that has so far been confirmed. Due to the ever-fluctuating nature of the COVID-19 Pandemic, and potential IJRU adjustments, changes may be necessary. We will do our very best to keep everyone informed in a timely manner.

NOTE: Although the RSC qualifier event has a flat registration fee of $30/athlete, you might want to consider the IJRU event pricing in the event that your athletes move forward to the IJRU Virtual World Championship. CLICK HERE FOR IJRU EVENT PRICING
It is an expectation that, if selected, all entries submitted to the RSC Qualifier represent a commitment to continue on to the IJRU Virtual World Championship Events.
Individual Competition
2021 IJRU Virtual World Championships
- 1st place overall athlete in each gender category and the next 2 highest placing athletes in each event will qualify for this competition
2021 IJRU Virtual International Open
- Following the World Championship selection, the next 3 highest placing individual in each event in each gender category will qualify for this competition
2021 Junior World Championships
- Top 3 overall athletes in each gender category will qualify for this competition
* Should no individual opt to try for an overall spot, the three highest placing individuals in each event will qualify.
How to Record and Submit a video
The video submission guidelines will be exactly the same as those for the IJRU Virtual World Championship. This will allow athletes to use the same video for both events, should they choose to do that. View the video recording and submission guidelines to learn about the camera settings and video requirements for all event submissions. Judges will not award points for any skills or speed steps/multiples that are completed if a member of the team is outside of the field of view. These guidelines will help ensure that we are able to clearly view the athletes and properly judge all submissions. We may update the recommendations, so please check back regularly for the most recent tips for video submissions.
All athletes will need to stand in front of the camera and show the IJRU 2021 Confirmation Code to verify the video submission. You can print out the code or show a digital version from a phone or tablet. This code must be visible in any videos uploaded for the RSC-IJRU Qualifier Event.
